The organization successfully launched its inaugural hotel in Tulum, Mexico, and was preparing for global expansion. This required a transformation of the business into a global organization and replicating the brand experience in other markets.
We were asked to assess the existing organization and processes, offering insights and guidance to the CEO and senior leadership team on the optimal structure and strategy to successfully execute Our Habitas' transformation process.
During this project, our team executed against clearly defined deliverables around organizational structure, (pre-)opening process, systems and infrastructure, commercial strategy, hotel operations, and general leadership.
After defining the strategic course and creating a blueprint for expansion, we accompanied Our Habitas on this transformative growth journey.
We were trusted to recruit key members of their commercial leadership team and quickly embarked on the task of selecting the ideal tech stack. This involved extensive discussions with stakeholders from various departments: commercial, operations, finance, and corporate teams. Together, we identified the requirements to drive our implementation efforts.
We had to continuously strike a delicate balance between centralization and standardization on one hand and granting individual hotels the flexibility to adapt to their unique needs on the other. Our main areas of focus included pricing and distribution, hotel operations, food & beverage, payments, and integration with financial reporting. The system implementation served as a catalyst for change, by deciding how to effectively integrate the various tools into the day-to-day practices to achieve operational excellence.
Throughout the project, we orchestrated communication between various technology providers and the team at Our Habitas. This ensured that we maintained a holistic view and oversight of the project's progress and consistently worked towards achieving the overarching strategic objectives
We are proud of having supported Our Habitas in building its brand presence. Three years into our partnership, they were successfully operating ten hotels across five countries, with even more exciting destinations in the pipeline.
We came on board at a pivotal moment when the team was ready to take their business to the next level. They had the opportunity to secure substantial growth in the next year, which meant they needed to revamp their entire operation. This transformation included getting their organization in shape to support that growth, as well as aligning various aspects like their commercial strategy, HR processes, and financial foundation.

With this vision in place, we pinpointed the gaps between where they were and where they wanted to be. Then, we got down to the nitty-gritty, working on practical steps and tools to bridge the gap and set them up for future success.
The company is based in the Netherlands and operates worldwide with projects spanning 45 countries. It had recently seen remarkable growth in its Asia operation and identified tremendous opportunities for expansion in this region.
This asked for a dedicated vision for the Asia business, with a special focus on China. Our first step was to pinpoint the strategic objectives and understand the exciting growth prospects within this dynamic landscape. We recognized the importance of understanding cultural differences in conducting business and effectively promoting Live Legends on local digital platforms. Additionally, we aimed to inspire the future by nurturing the next generation of talent and creating a lasting legacy.
In parallel, we had a more practical task at hand: preparing a significant pitch for a new project in China. We provided our expertise from the hospitality sector, a crucial component of the final product. Simultaneously, we offered comprehensive project management services to ensure that every detail was meticulously captured, allowing the creative team to focus on what they excel at - bringing magic to live.
